Leo P. PappalardoLeo P. Pappalardo, 73, of Fulton, passed away on June 17, 2014, at Upstate University Medical Center surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Fulton he was the son of the late Phil and Angelina (Curcuruto) Pappalardo.
Leo was employed by Triline Automation Corporation. He was an active member of his parish church. Leo loved cooking, singing, fishing, and spending time with his family. His kindness and spirit left a lasting impression on all who met him.
Leo leaves behind his beloved wife of 53 years, Wanda (Cooper) Pappalardo and four daughters:  Beth Pappalardo-Mitchell (David) of Whitesboro, NY; Cheryl (Steven) Sovare of Webster, NY; Angela Pappalardo (Ted Sherman) of Buffalo, NY and Deanna Pappalardo of Fulton, NY.
Known to his four grandchildren as “Nano,” he will be deeply missed by Leo, Ian, Audrey and Nina.   He is survived by his sister Rosa (Richard) Kemmis, brother Salvatore (Rosalie) Pappalardo, all of Fulton, and sister JoAnn Natoli of Minetto.
Calling hours will be from 4 to 7pm on Friday, June 20th at Sugar Funeral Home, 224 West 2nd Street South, Fulton, New York.
Funeral services are 11am Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 2912 NY Rt 48, Minetto, NY. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.
In lieu of flowers, family requests contributions to the Golisano Children’s Hospital, Syracuse or the Catholic Charities Food Pantry of Oswego County.
