Joseph A. Ranieri, 91; of Fulton died at University Hospital, Syracuse. He was born in Syracuse and he was a lifetime resident of Fulton. Mr. Ranieri was a United States Veteran having served during WWII in the Army Air Corp. He retired from Armstrong, Co., Fulton as a chief shift inspector after 30+ yrs of service. Mr. Ranieri enjoyed his grandchildren and family. He loved to play the lottery. Mr. Ranieri was pre-deceased by his wife Edith Ranieri in 2004. He is survived by his son Kim (Kathleen) Ranieri of LaFayette, NY; and his 5 grandchildren: Michael, Jaime, Gina, David, Kayte and 6 great grandchildren Skylar, Jesse, Jenna, Elysse, Evan and Jaegar. Funeral Services will be held 8:00 AM at Holy Trinity Church where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Stephen Wirkes. Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton. A calling hour from 6:00 to 7:00 PM Friday will be held in the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton, NY.
