William F. Pittsley Jr., 76, of Fulton died Friday February 23, 2018 in the Oswego Hospital. He was born in Oswego the son of the late William and Luba (Dulin) Pittsley. Mr. Pittsley worked for the Painter’s Local # 38, Oswego. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge Lake City # 127, and was the past commander of the Masonic War Veterans # 414, Oswego. Mr. Pittsley served in the United States Army from 1964 until 1967. He was predeceased by his wife Helen Fultz Pittsley in 1982, his granddaughter Desirae Pittsley in 1996, and his brothers Ronald and Brian Pittsley. He is survived by his daughter Jean (Jane Wagoner) Fultz of Oswego, his son Mark Pittsley of Fulton who has been is caregiver for the past two years. He is also survived by his sisters Joyce Spohn of AZ, Teresa (Dan) Sova of FL, Judy (Don) Cornell of Scriba, and his 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and caregivers. Calling hours will be Thursday March 1, 2018 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home 147 W. 4th. St. Oswego. Private burial will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery.
