Wanda J. Halstead, 60; of Fulton died Saturday, October 1st at Oswego Hospital after a long illness. She was born in Syracuse, NY to the late Francis Ferraina and Grace (Bergman) Ferraina. Mrs. Halstead has been a resident of Hannibal and Fulton for most of her life. She was a past member of the Fulton VFW Auxiliary Post #569. She was also a past active member and volunteer at Dexterville Seventh Day Adventist Church, Dexterville, NY. Mrs. Halstead enjoyed playing cards with her family and her favorite pastime was playing bingo with family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 34 years: Roy Halstead of Fulton, 2 children: Jeffery Halstead of Cato, NY and Laura Neupert of Oswego, NY, siblings: Frances Oakley of Hannibal, Bertha Bergman of FL, Ann Marie LeClair of FL, Richard Ferraina of New Haven, NY, step-brother Peter Ferraina of NC, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family.  Funeral services will be held 5:00 PM Monday, October 10th, 2011 at the Dexterville Seventh Day Adventist Church, Dexterville, NY with Pastor Robert Hess officiating.  There will be no calling hours.  Burial will be private.  The Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S.
