Virginia Colocino, 91; formerly of Fulton died Tuesday at Highland Hospital, Rochester, NY. She was born in Fulton and remained a lifetime resident until recently moving closer to her daughter. Mrs. Colocino retired from the Fulton Consolidated School System after working at Phillip Street School and Granby Elementary as a lunch aid. She was a past member of the St. Michael’s Altar Rosary Society and she was an avid gardener. She is survived by her daughter Sandra Colocino of Webster, NY. Mrs. Colocino was pre-deceased by her husband Anthony Colocino in 1999, and her siblings: Stanley, Walter, Edmund, Charles, and Edward Witowski, Mary Swierczek, Stacia Culkin, Genevieve Sieron and Celestine Colocino. Funeral Services will be held 9:30 AM Friday at Holy Trinity Church where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will be held in the spring at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours will be conducted 4:00 to 6:00 PM Thursday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton. The family has requested that donations may be made to St. John’s Home, 150 Highland Ave. Rochester, NY 14620.
