Viola M. Sweet, 97; of Fulton died at Michaud Residential Health Services, Fulton. Mrs. Sweet was born in Oswego Center to the late Arthur and Hazel (King) McLaughlin. She has been a resident of the Fulton and Oswego area all of her life. Mrs. Sweet was a life member of the Hannibal American Legion Post #1552, and a member of the Oswego Center Methodist Church. She was pre-deceased by her husband Kenneth Sweet in 2001. Mrs. Sweet is survived by her daughter Patricia Kerr of Fulton, NY brother Frederick McLaughlin of Saratoga Springs, NY and sister Bernice Bateman of Oswego, NY 3 grandchildren: Timothy (Carlin) Kerr, George (Amity) Kerr and Shannon Kerr Beebe, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted 10:00 AM Saturday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., with Rev. Elyse Skiles officiating. Burial will be held in Mt. Adnah Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours will be conducted 5:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton.
