Suzanne Marie Basualdo 59 of Oswego, New York died peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on Monday January 18, 2010. She was born March 3, 1950 in Buffalo, NY, the daughter of Marian Williams and the late LeRay Williams, she was the youngest of four siblings. Her son Julian Basualdo predeceased her February 21, 2001. Mrs. Basualdo is survived by her husband of 39 years, Eugenio Basualdo, of Oswego, her daughter Antoinette and son-in-law Paul Delmonico of Boston, Massachusetts; grandsons Julian and Levon; brothers Donald (Teresa) and Thomas (Susan) Williams, her sister, Barbara (Donald) Coleman; and many nieces and nephews. Suzanne taught Special Education for 29 years: 26 of them at the Oswego Middle School. A Memorial service will be held Saturday June 5th at 1pm at the Oswego Middle, Oswego, NY. The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home 147 West Fourth Street, Oswego. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of the Suzanne Basualdo Scholarship Fund c/o OMS Principal, Oswego Middle School, Mark Fitzgibbons Drive, Oswego, NY 13126
Suzanne, Your friendship was a treasured gift. It was an honor to work with you for so many years and to be your friend. My sincere sympathy to the Basualdo, Delmonico, and Williams families.
