Steven Diak, 94; of Fulton died Wednesday at Pontiac Nursing Home, Oswego. He was born in Fulton to the late Metro and Anna (Mitoro) Diak. He has been a lifelong resident of Fulton. Mr. Diak was a retired Mason having worked in the Laborer’s Local #214. He was an avid golfer. Mr. Diak was pre-deceased by his infant brother Nicholas Diak, sisters Mary Sackett, and Kate Best, and brothers: Joseph Diak, John Diak, and Michael Diak. He is survived by his children Stephen Diak of Fulton, twin sons: Donald and David Diak both of Fulton, and daughter Mary Lee Tetro of Fulton, his brother Edward Diak, 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held 10:30 AM Monday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., with Rev. Stephen Wirkes officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours will be conducted from 9:00 to 10:30 AM Monday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton.
