Stacia SwiaderStacia Swiader, 96; of Fulton died Monday at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse.  She was born in Oswego, NY to the late Peter and Caroline (Chowanice) Chernachowicz.  Mrs. Swiader was previously employed with Sealright Corp., Fulton and she later retired from Nestle’s Co., Fulton.  Mrs. Swiader was a past member of the St. Michael’ s Altar Rosary Society, and Fulton Polish Home Ladies Auxiliary.  She was pre-deceased by her first husband Matthew Okoniewski, and second husband Michael Swiader.  Mrs. Swiader is survived by her daughter June Okoniewski Burrell of Buffalo, NY and 2 grandchildren:  Matthew Burrell, and Gregory Burrell, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews including David and Catherine Okoniewski.

Funeral Services will be conducted 9:30 AM Friday at Holy Trinity Church where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Robert Stephenson.  Burial will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.  There will be no calling hours.  The Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 West Second St. S. Fulton has care of the arrangements.

  1. Stacia was one of my favorite customers for many years. She was a beautiful lady both outside and within, We had many good conversations and laughed alot together. She was a hard worker and never complained. I wish all my customers were as fun to serve as Stacia. My sincere sympathy to all those that loved this beautiful lady. Sincerely Ross
