Shirley R. Hibbert, 90, of Varick St., Oswego died Sunday in Seneca Hill Manor. Mrs. Hibbert was born in Auburn, NY, the daughter of the late William and Rosemary Southworth, and she has been a lifetime resident of Oswego. Mrs. Hibbert retired in 1979 as a transportation supervisor from the Oswego City School District. She enjoyed knitting and reading. Mrs. Hibbert was predeceased by her husband John F. Hibbert in 1990, and her daughter Theresa Scozzari and son James Scozzari. She is survived by her daughter Phyllis Myer of Oswego, four grandchildren Chuck Bahner, Michelle (Dave) France, Tim (Beth) Myer, Lisa Solazzo, and six grandchildren Mark, Phillip, McKenna, Kassandra, Cameron, and Caedance. Funeral services will be Thursday 9:00a.m in St. Mary of the Assumption Church. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Wednesday 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home 147 W. 4th. St. Oswego.
