Sarah C. Piazza

Sarah C. Piazza, 98, of Lincoln St. Oswego died Thursday at St. Luke Health Service. Mrs. Piazza was born in Fulton, the daughter of the late Alfred and Mary (Marinacci) Chalone. Mrs. Piazza has been a resident of Oswego for most of her life. She enjoyed playing bingo. Mrs. Piazza was predeceased by her husband John Piazza in 1971, her son Bill Piazza in 1989, and her daughter Annemarie Piazza, and four brothers and four sisters. Mrs. Piazza is survived by her children Mary (Sam) Ambrosetti of Oswego, John (Nancy) Piazza of Sodus, Donna (John) Torrese of Fulton, fourteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.  Funeral services will be Monday 11:30 a.m. at the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, 147 West Fourth St., Oswego. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. A special thank you to St. Luke Health Services, third floor, for their care and compassion.
