Rose Fabrizi, 95, a longtime resident of Oswego died Tuesday April 28, 2015 in Greenville, SC with her family at her side. Mrs. Fabrizi was born in Chittenango, the daughter of the late Angelo and Jessie (Maggone) Cretaro. Mrs. Fabrizi was a former employee of Perry’s Flowerland, and a former cook at Canale’s Restaurant. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Oswego. Mrs. Fabrizi was predeceased by her husband Albert Fabrizi in 2001. She is survived by her children Richard (Terry) Fabrizi of SC; Nancy (John) Roberts of SC; her sisters Caroline Smith of Pompey, NY and Mary Santore of Oswego; and her grandchildren Jay (Danielle) Fabrizi; Scott (Katie) Roberts; and Erin (Ted) Keysor, In addition Mrs. Fabrizi has six great grandchildren Mason Fabrizi, Ethan Roberts, Seth Roberts, Henry Keysor, Rose Keysor, and George Keysor. She was predeceased by her siblings Edna Vona, Antoinette Magari, Michael and Frank Cretaro. Funeral services will be conducted Monday 10:00 a.m. from the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, and 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Entombment will be in All Saints Mausoleum. Calling hours will be Monday morning from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.at the funeral home 147 W. 4th. St. Oswego.

Your mother is very lucky to have a son who truly aeperciatps who she is. I know she has passed, but you know she is still around, don’t you? This is such a beautiful tribute to her. I can only imagine how proud of you she must be. Thank you for sharing!
