Ronald Tracey Frawley, 72; of Fulton passed away peacefully with his family by his side Sunday at Morningstar Health Care, Oswego, NY. He was born in Syracuse, NY the son of the late Norman and Eleanor (Whitmore) Frawley. Mr. Frawley retired from the United States Navy having served from 1967 to 1989 active duty and officially retiring from the Naval Reserves in 1997. His last post was on the U.S. Preble DDG-46 where he worked as a Chief Sonar Technician. Mr. Frawley loved his work. He enjoyed carpentry, hunting and fishing. He would also invite his family to camp on his five acres of land where they would engage in huge hide and seek games and water gun fights/non-combative night games. Mr. Frawley was pre-deceased by his infant brother Richard Allen, and brother Michael Frawley. He is survived by his children: Andrew Campbell of VA, Traci Frank of VA, Daniel Campbell of VA, Ronald Thomas Frawley of Fulton, and Amanda Strawn of TN, siblings: Julie (John) Paczos of Fulton, Pat (Linda) Frawley of Fulton, George Frawley of IL, Norma (Joseph) Fortino of Liverpool, NY, Linda (Bill) Johnston of FL, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Calling Hours will be held 4:30 to 6:00 PM Thursday Funeral service to follow at 6:00 PM with Rev. Dan Smith officiating. Burial will be held 11:00 AM Friday at Bath National Cemetery, Bath, NY with military honors to be bestowed by the United States Navy Honor Guard.
