Ronald D Smith, 32, of Oswego and Fulton, went into God’s loving arms, Monday December 5, 2016 at St. Luke Health Services, surrounded by his loving family, and friends. Ronald was born in Fulton the son of David and Denise (Atkinson) Smith of Fulton. He was a graduate of the Oswego High School. He worked as a certified nurse’s aide at St. Luke Health Services, Oswego. Ronald was a loving son, brother and very proud uncle. In addition to his parents he is survived by his siblings David Smith of Fulton, Cara Smith of Oswego, Baylea (Tom) Wolbert of Oswego, Cody Smith of Fulton, and Noah Smith of Fulton, his nephews and nieces whom he adored Conner, Tyler, Tucker, Allison and Tacia. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother Janice Atkinson, and paternal grandmother Mary Frable. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Ronald Atkinson, and paternal grandfather Charles Smith. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be conducted Saturday 9:00 -11:00 a.m. at the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home 147 West 4th St. Oswego, NY 13126. Following the calling hours a Celebration of Life for Ron will be held Saturday 12 noon, at the Fulton Moose Lodge #1280, County Route 57, Fulton NY.
Ronny, You were the only Friend I had From Oswego when you lived in Utica….I’m going to miss you more than you know…..God Speed, Rest easy mate, and Sweet dreams…I will never forget you…I hope there is allot of Pepsi in heaven for you!! Til we meet again.

Jan iam so sorry to hear this sad news. It really makes my heart ache for you knowing what your family and you are going through. There are no real words that can comfort someone at this sad time but I hope knowing he is with his grandpa now and together they sharing love and no more pain.
David and Denise I am sorry to hear that you lost your son. I cannot fathom the pain you are feeling.
