Roger Dings

Roger Dings, 83; of Fulton passed away peacefully with his family Friday. He was born in Fulton to the late Robert and Clarissa Andrews Dings. Mr. Dings remained a lifetime resident of Fulton. He was a United States Veteran having served in the Marine Corp. from 1952-1954. Mr. Dings retired from Armstrong World Industries after 38 years of service. He was a longtime communicant of Holy Family Church, Fulton and a current member of Holy Trinity Parish, Fulton. Mr. Dings was pre-deceased by his son Roger Andrews Dings, sisters: Lena Brown, Margaret Keil, Eleanor Durfey, Carol Dings, and brother Robert Dings, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Teresa M. Dings, children: Mary Beth Dings, Michael and wife Ann Dings, Steven and wife Sheila Dings, grandchildren Matthew Dings, Erin Dings and Adam Dings and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 9:30 AM Tuesday at Holy Trinity Church where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. James Schultz. Burial will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours will be conducted 1:00 to 4:00 PM Monday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 West Second St. S. Fulton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Charles and Mary Haney Fund, in care of Mr. Steven Thomas, 140 W. 6th St., Suite 110, Oswego, NY 13126 with thanks and recognition to Dr. Jonathan Wright and his staff.
