Robert J. HowlandRobert J. Howland, 67, of Oswego Town died Wednesday morning in the Oswego Hospital. Mr. Howland was born in Oswego the son of the late Francis and Katherine (O’Brien) Howland. He served in the United States Army. Mr. Howland retired in 2005 as a machine operator from Alcan Aluminum, Oswego. He is survived by his wife of thirty-three years Susan Howland of Oswego Town, children Robert (Lenore) Howland of Oswego, Stacie (Joe) Garafolo of Oswego, Kevin (Amanda) Howland of Baldwinsville, brother Charles Howland of Fulton, grandchildren Hunter, Nicholas, Olivia, Isabelle, Jesse, and Jacob, and nieces, nephews, and cousins. Graveside services will be held Monday 9:00a.m. at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Sunday 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home

    We just wanted to let you know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. We will remember Bob as a kind and gentle person who was always willing to help someone. The first car I ever drove was his yellow Buick-what a great time! Deepest sympathy.
