Richard Sawyer Jr., 73; of Hannibal died December 14th at his home. He was the son of the late Richard and Mildred Sawyer Sr., of Syracuse, NY. He was a resident of Hannibal for 25 years. Mr. Sawyer retired from Oswego Napa Auto Parts, Oswego where he worked as a deliveryman and clerk for 40 years. He loved to camp and attend the auto races. Mr. Sawyer is survived by his wife of 26 years Patricia A. Sawyer of Hannibal, 1 son Michael Davies of FL., and 2 step sons: LeRoy B. Miner of a Hannibal, and John A. Miner of Fulton, 1 brother Thomas (Nancy) Sawyer of Fulton, 9 grandchildren, and 1 great grandson. Family will be receiving family and friends Friday, December 30th at the Hannibal Volunteer Fire Dept. Hall from 1:00 to 4:00 PM

Burial will be held in the spring at Roosevelt Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton, NY.
