Phyllis M. Walts, 81; formerly of Fulton passed away peacefully Friday at St. Luke Health Services, Oswego, NY. She was born in Pooleville, NY; to the late Glenn and Marion (Salsbury) Goff. Mrs. Walts was a longtime resident of Phoenix, NY. She was a homemaker and active volunteer knitting and crocheting blankets for several cancer patients, and taking shifts at the gift shop that was available for the Michaud Nursing Home and A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital visitors and residents. Mrs. Walts was pre-deceased by her husband Edward Walts, 2 sisters: Patricia Walts, and Louella Beaman, and her son-in-law Richard Arden. Mrs. Walts is survived by her children: Glenda Arden of Fulton, and James Walts of New Haven, NY, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held Noon to 2:00 PM Sunday at Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. There will be no funeral service. Burial will be held privately.
