Patricia A. Condon Smithers, 82; of Phoenix, NY; passed away peacefully Saturday at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse. She was born in Fulton, NY to the late Ira and Clarabelle (Burt) Spaulding. Patricia was formerly of Liverpool, NY and she has lived in Phoenix, NY for the past 26 years. She retired from Naum’s Moving and Storage, Syracuse, NY where she worked as a Bookkeeper. Patricia was an avid pen pal handwriting hundreds of letters over the years to 50+ people. She loved to read and dance. Patricia also participated in BUNCO Club. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and especially loved hosting her family during the holidays and special events. Patricia is survived by her husband of 7 years Keith Smithers of Phoenix, NY; her children: Michael (KarenLee) Condon of Granby, NY; Kathleen (Scott) Reich of Otisco, NY; her step-children: Christine (Taka) Shigihara of CA; Anthony (Terry) River of Syracuse, NY; Kenneth (Kathy) River of North Syracuse, NY; AnnaBelle (Dennis) Ransom of NC; Kristina Hawker of Fulton; Vell Kurt (Erin) Smithers of NC; Vell Kory Smithers of Phoenix, NY; her siblings: Sheila Westcott of Phoenix, NY, Donald (Caroline) Spaulding of Sterling, NY and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held 4:00 to 7:00 PM Tuesday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S., Fulton, NY. Burial will be conducted privately. There will be no funeral service.
