<p>Sam P. Strikwerda, 87; formerly of Fulton died at Bayshore Community Hospital, NJ. He was born in Holland to the late Sam and Marie Strikwerda. He was a resident of Fulton for over 65 years and moved to NJ in 2007. He retired from Armstrong Corp., Fulton where he worked as a Mechanic. Mr. Strikwerda was pre-deceased by his wife Frannie Strikwerda in 1998, and his siblings: Jacob Strikwerda, and Betty Hinman. He is survived by his daughter Paula R. Pais of Keyport, NJ, and his sister Ann Dennen of FL., 2 nieces: Sally Russell of Fulton, and Valerie Joiner of FL, and 1 nephew Richard Strikwerda of Fulton. Funeral Services and Burial will be private. There will be no calling hours. The Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2<sup>nd St. S. Fulton, NY has the arrangements. </sup></p>

Marra, 64; of Hannibal died at University Hospital, Syracuse.  He was born to the late Roger and Betty (Caswell) Marra in Fulton and he has been a resident of Hannibal for 34 years.  Mr. Marra retired from Niagara Mohawk after 32 years of service.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman having enjoyed both international and national sportsmen trips.  He was a co-founder, rider and current president of the Oswego Valley ATV Club.  Mr. Marra especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  He is survived by his wife of 46 years Patricia Marra of Hannibal, NY; 3 children:  Susan (Stephen) Stirushnik of Fulton, Karen (Mark) Harrington of Oswego, NY; and Jeffrey Marra of AZ, 2 sisters:  Patricia (William) Sawyer of Phoenix, NY; and Nancy Burns of FL, 5 grandchildren:  Stephanie (Matthew) Dupee, Kyle Menter, Shawn Stirushnik, Taylor Menter, Brendan Marra, and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral Services will be held 9:00 AM Friday in the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., and 9:30 AM in Holy Trinity Church where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.  Burial will be private.  Calling hours will be conducted 4:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Mary C. Taormino, 78; of Fulton died at University Hospital, Syracuse, NY.  She was born to the late Peter and Emma (Prestia) Monteleone in Jersey City, NJ.  She has been a resident of Fulton for 58 years.  Mrs. Taormino retired from General Electric, Syracuse in 1974 after 20 years of employment.  She went onto waitress at Salem House, Fulton and then began working with the Fulton Consolidated School District in the Custodial Department where she retired from after 20 years of service.  She is survived by her husband of 58 years Phillip Taormino Sr. of Fulton, 4 children:  Michelle (Keith) Vincent of Hannibal, NY, Phillip Taormino Jr. of Fulton, Linda (Scott) LeCuyer of NC, and Marie (Rod) Kouthoofd of Oswego, NY, 4 brothers:  James Monteleone of NJ, Anthony Monteleone of Baldwinsville, NY, Alfred Monteleone, and John Monteleone both of Fulton, 7 grandchildren:  Heather, Michael, Angela, Michelle, Alex, Ryan, and Bryce, 2 great grandsons:  Joshua, and Jacob and several nieces and nephews.     Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 AM Tuesday at Holy Trinity Church, Fulton where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.  Burial will be in St. Mary ‘s Cemetery, Fulton.  Calling hours will be conducted from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Monday at Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Lawton, 49, of Oswego, NY died Friday at the Oswego Hospital surrounded by his family, and friends. He was born in Rome, NY on July 14, 1961. Michael attended Tompkins Cortland Community College and Adirondack Community College for business. After working briefly in insurance, Michael went into concrete and ready mix for the majority of his career, training with the American Concrete Institute for numerous certifications. After the birth of his first two children, Michael worked as a dispatcher at Glens Falls Ready Mix before relocating to Cortland, NY to work as plant manger for Saunders Concrete. He spent the next ten years residing with his family in Canton, NY and working as sales director and regional plant manger for Torrington Industries Inc. Michael moved with his family to Amboy, NY in 1996 working with Torrington Ind., G&amp;I Homes as a Sales representative, satellite dish installer, and with Symons Corporations before relocating to Fulton, NY where he worked with customer service at Northern Concrete. He moved with his family to Kerrville, TX in early 2005 where he worked as founder of Scrap Metal Recycling until returning to the area in late 2008 where he resided in Oswego, NY until his death. Michael was a lover of hard work, great character, learning, and above all family. Michael was predeceased by his son Justiss Michael Lee Lawton, his father, Ronald Lawton, and brother Victor Lawton. He is survived by his wife Lori Lawton of Oswego, daughters Hope M. Lawton of Liverpool, Eliza-Joan A. Lawton, and Harmonie L Lawton both of Oswego, sons Andrew G. Lawton of Fulton, Honnor B. Lawton,and Matthew A. Wilson both of Oswego, his mother Thea-Joan Lawton of TX, sisters Deborah Heaton of Ogdensburg, Ellen Lawton of TX, brothers Rickie Lawton, Robert Lawton, and Ronald Lawton all of Ogdensburg, grandchildren Karri A., and Kaylob G. Lawton, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Private memorial service for family and friends will be held at a later date. The arrangements were in the care of the Sugar &amp; Scanlon Funeral Home 147 West Fourth Street, Oswego.</p>

Josephine “Josie” Borek, 85; formerly of Fulton and more recently of Arizona died Friday at Village Oaks Memory Care of Chandler, AZ.  She was born in Skaneateles, NY and has been a life-long Fulton resident.  Mrs. Borek was employed with Mirabito’s Store, Fulton for 42 years and was a bookkeeper with Oswego County Opportunities until her retirement in 1989.  She was a member of the PLAV, and Catholic Daughters.  She was also a past member of Holy Family Church, St. Michael’s Church and the Altar Rosary Society.  She was pre-deceased by her son Michael Borek.  Mrs. Borek is survived by her husband of 64 years Ralph Borek of Fulton, children:  Karen (Neil Samson) Borek of Fulton, NY Joanne (Hans) van der Mars of AZ, Jim (Doreen Lumbra) Borek of Centereach, NY, daughter-in-law Valerie Borek of Antioch, TN, siblings Phillip Manitta and Dominic Manitta both of Fulton, NY Mary Jonientz, and Anna Koczan both of Liverpool, NY and Emily St. Phillips and Lucille Runeare both of Fulton, NY 2 granddaughters, 4 grandsons, 3 great granddaughters, and 4 great grandsons and numerous nieces and nephews.  Funeral Services will be conducted Monday at 9:30 AM in Holy Trinity Church, Fulton where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.  Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton, NY.  Calling hours will be held            Sunday 3:00 –6:00 at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Mr. LaPage is survived by his children Perry LaPage of Hannibal, Chelsey LaPage of Fulton, Allen LaPage of Fulton, and Jessica LaPage of Fulton, his father Perry F. (Charolene) LaPage of Hannibal, his mother Linda (Tom) Leach of Hannibal, his siblings Michelle (Matthew) Conklin of Warners, Neal (Sherri) LaPage of Hannibal, Monica (Jim) Kyle of Hannibal, Arthur (Ann) Flewelling of Fulton, Ka’Wana (Bill) Mediamolle of Fulton several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services will be Wednesday 9:30 a.m. at the Sugar Funeral Home, Fulton. Burial will be in Hannibal Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home 224 West Second Street, Fulton.</p>
