Nancy E. Ritchie, 53, a former resident of Fulton and more recent of Rockwell, NC, died Tuesday May 23, 2017 in Tucker Hospice Center, NC surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer. Nancy was born in Fulton the daughter of the late Alfred and Helen (Chapman) Arnold. Nancy retired after many years of working from a NASCAR Busch Grand National team and racing car industry. She especially loved traveling and spending time with her husband, children, granddaughter, family and friends. Nancy is survived by her husband of 35 years, Michael Ritchie of NC, and their daughters Arica Ritchie of NC; Michael Ann Ritchie of NC; Gina Ritchie of NC, and her granddaughter Ava Ritchie of NC. She is also survived by her siblings Bill (Cheryl) Arnold of Fulton; Mary (Tom) Yager of Fulton; David (Chris) Arnold of Fulton; John (Sherri) Arnold of Minetto; Bob (Wendy) Arnold of NC; Stephen Arnold of Colorado; Martha Crofoot of Oswego; Kathryn (Craig Prior) Arnold of Fulton; Suzanne (Tom) Davis of Fulton, and several aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be Wednesday 10:00 AM in Holy Trinity Church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Sugar Funeral Home 224 W. 2nd. St. S. Fulton, NY.
Nancy will be missed. I have never written a sympathy note before so forgive me if this doesn’t come out sounding right. We are so sorry to hear about this unfortunate loss of such a special woman and we are deeply saddened. Mike, know that you’re not alone and that Michelle and myself are here for you.

Nancy you were a great sister n law and just a sweet person. Always worried about everyone else. I am so glad we had time last year even tho it wasnt always fun worrying about Nana. You will be missed by all , and Mike I only wish you peace . Im sorry we did not make it. Under circumstances I felt it best to honor your daughters wishes.
