Mary P. Schrader, 93, of Oswego died at home peacefully with her family by her side. Mrs. Schrader was born in Oswego the daughter of the late Ersilio and Victoria (Molinari) Polega. She was a secretary and stenographer at St. Regis, Oswego, and was the clerk for the Oswego Library for many years. Mrs. Schrader was a communicant of St. Joseph Church. Mrs. Schrader is survived by her loving husband of sixty-eight years John Schrader of Oswego, and their children Karen Schrader of Delmar, NY, Susan (George) Schrader-Rank of Pattersonville NY, and Richard (Diane) Schrader of Oswego. In addition she is survived by her grandchildren, Amalea, Nicholas, Ariana, Aubree, Mitchell, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Schrader was predeceased by her brother Augustine Polega. Funeral services will be Monday December 11, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Church, Oswego, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Oswego. There will be no calling hours. The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, 147 W. 4th St. Oswego, NY. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Oswego County Salvation, or the Oswego County Humane Society.
