Mary Closs, 88; formerly of Fulton passed away peacefully in Suncoast Hospice Care Center Palm Harbor, FL. She was born in Fulton, NY to the late Frank and Catherine (Yucura) Gowda. Mrs. Closs remained a life resident of Fulton until moving to Clear Water, FL with her son. Mrs. Closs was pre-deceased by her husband of 56 years John Closs in 2008, and 3 siblings: Anne Phillips, Veronica Gowda and Peter Gowda. Mrs. Closs is survived by her daughter Joan Marie (Gene) Seabaugh of CO, and son Gary J. Closs of FL. Mrs. Closs was buried privately Wednesday, April 15th at Fairdale Cemetery, Hannibal, NY following her last wishes. The family has requested that donations may be made to the American Cancer Society 6725 Lyons St. East Syracuse, NY 13057. The Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton had care of the arrangements.
