Lindy Aluzzo, 87; of Fulton passed away suddenly at Oswego Hospital, Oswego. He was born in Lynn, MA to the late Dominic and Angelina (Cuzzolin) Aluzzo. Lindy was a resident of Fulton for most of his life. He was a United States Veteran having served in the Navy during the Korean War. Lindy worked as a Union Mason, and Brick Layer with several construction companies. He was also a co-owner of Canal Point Restaurant, Fulton. Lindy was a member of the Fulton VFW Post #569. Lindy loved to cook for an army and having and a good drink. Lindy was devoted to his pre-deceased family and he made a daily visit to St. Mary’s Cemetery. He was pre-deceased by his daughter Mary Margaret Aluzzo, and great granddaughter Geonna Calkins. Lindy is survived by his wife Kathleen Aluzzo of Fulton, daughter Gina Scerbo of Fulton, siblings: Christine Ritz of Baldwinsville, NY. Mary Simpkins of FL., John (Marguerite) Aluzzo of Baldwinsville, NY; William Aluzzo of Rhode Island, Yvonne Hoopingarner of FL., 2 grandchildren: Joseph (Brittany Wallace) Scerbo, and Lindy (Kenny) Calkins, 2 great grandchildren: Belladeonna Calkins and Emery Scerbo, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Friday at 4:00 PM at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton. Burial will be held in the spring at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours will be conducted 2:00 to 4:00 PM Friday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton, NY. Donations may be made to The Cpl. Kyle R. Schneider Foundation P.O.
