Lillian R. Zizzi Garrett, 95; of Fulton died Tuesday morning at Michaud Residential Health Services, Fulton after a long illness. She was born in Fulton and she was a resident of Fulton for over 20 years. Mrs. Garrett retired from Nestles Co., Fulton after 25 years. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters Court Pere LeMoyne, and a past member of the Holy Family Altar Rosary Society. Mrs. Garret was pre-deceased by her husband Guy Garrett in 2001. She is survived by 5 children: Claudia Garrett of Delaware, Barbara McDonald of Florida, Patricia (Tom) Okoniewski of Fulton, Mary (Donald) Berhang of Glencove, NY and David (Joyce) Garrett of Fulton, 2 sister-in-laws, 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 10:30 AM Friday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Minetto where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Robert Stephenson. Burial will be in All Saints Mausoleum, St. Peter’s Cemetery, Oswego. Calling hours will be held 4:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton. Contributions may be made to the Father Champlain’s Guardian Angel Society, 259 East Onondaga St. Syracuse, NY 13202-9943.

It is always with sadness to read of the recent death of someone whom I know was fondly remembered by her family and friends. Unfortunately, I will not be able to convey my condolences in person at this time, however, I want you all to know that your mom will be in my thoughts and prayers.
