Leona M. Davis, 81, of Fulton died in Seneca Hill Manor after a short illness. Mrs. Davis was born in Fulton the daughter of the late Milford and Dorothy (LaLonde) Myhill. Mrs. Davis retired from St. Luke Health Services where she worked as a seamstress, and assisted in housekeeping. She was the past president of the VFW Auxiliary and past president of the Merton Kemp Marine Corp. Axuliary. Mrs. Davis was predeceased by her husband Homer Davis and daughter Rita Louise Bailey. Mrs. Davis is survived by her children Linda (Rick) June of Fulton, Dinah, Ray Bailey Jr. of FL, Adrian (Laura) Bailey of SC, Chuck (Sherrie) Bailey of TN, her brothers Alfred Myhill of Fulton, Milford Myhill of Cato, sister Margaret Frost of Fulton, fourteen grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Funeral services and burial will be private. The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar Funeral Home Inc. 224 W. 2nd. St. Fulton. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

I know how difficult it is to care for an aging parent. Your mom told me how grateful she was for all that you did for her. While this is a very hard time for you take comfort in knowing that your mom is no longer suffering. Hold on to the good memories.
