Lawrence McIntyre Sr., 82, of Fulton passed away peacefully at Michaud Residential Health Services, Fulton. He was born in Oswego, NY to the late William and Ida (Crissy) McIntyre. He has been a resident of Fulton for most of his life. Mr. McIntyre was a United States Veteran having served in the Navy during the Korean War from 1951-1953. He was a 1958 graduate of the State University of NY Agricultural and Technical Institute at Morrisville with a certification in Food Technology. He also graduated from the Riverside School of Aeronautics with a certification in Aeronautical Mechanics and Aircraft Maintenance. Mr. McIntyre worked as a tractor trailer driver for several years before accepting a job with Beech Aerospace Services Inc., FL., where he worked as an aircraft mechanic for the military. Mr. McIntyre was a past member of the Navy Flying Club, FL., and a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans. He was pre-deceased his brothers: Bert and John McIntyre. Mr. McIntyre is survived by her wife of 29 years Carol McIntyre of Fulton, 4 sons: Lawrence (Veronica) McIntyre Jr., of PA, William (Cathy) McIntyre of Fulton, Eric (Sandy) McIntyre of Fulton, Timothy (Patricia) McIntyre of Albion, NY, 5 step children, 1 sister Nora (Fred) Berger of FL., and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral Services and Burial will be held privately. There will be no calling hours. Sugar Funeral Home, Inc. 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton has care of the arrangements.
