Joyce Elaine MacDonald, 75; of Fulton passed away Sunday peacefully at home, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Mrs. MacDonald was born in Oswego, NY and she has remained a lifetime resident of Fulton. She had formerly worked at Fulton Savings Bank, Fulton. Mrs. MacDonald enjoyed life to the fullest and she also loved to travel. She was pre-deceased by her husband Ronald MacDonald in 2011. Mrs. MacDonald is survived by her 4 children: Kelly (Ted) Brackenrig of Ossining, NY, Linda (Danny) Dlugozima of FL., Stephanie (Tom) Cleland of Olathe, KS; and Chad MacDonald of CO, her sister Janice LaRussa of Fulton, her brother Norman “Sparky” Bovay of Fulton, 7 grandchildren: Edward, Ryan and Chad Brackenrig, Daniel and Tyler Dlugozima, Hunter Cleland, and Griffin MacDonald. Funeral Services will be conducted 6:00 PM Friday, May 19th at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton, NY with Rev. John Canorro officiating. Burial of Joyce and Ronald MacDonald will be held 9:00 AM Saturday at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours will be conducted 4:00 to 6:00 PM Friday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc.
