Joseph J. DiBartolo, 85; of Fulton died Sunday at Michaud Residential Health Services, Fulton. He was born in Fulton to the late Leonardo and Grace (Greco) DiBartolo. He has remained a resident of Fulton for most of his life. Mr. DiBartolo was a United States Veteran having served in the First Calvary Division of the Army during WWII. He retired from General Electric, Syracuse, NY and Florida as a Program Planner, and later worked with Key Bank of Fulton and Syracuse. He is survived by his wife of Carolyn DiBartolo of Fulton, 5 children: Charles (Beverley) DiBartolo of Fulton, Diane Anthony of FL, Jeanne (Douglas) Hill of FL, Brett Smelley of TX, Valerie (David) King of Fulton, Brian Smelley of Fulton, and his brother Sam (Shirley) DiBartolo of VA, 4 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 9:30 AM Wednesday at Holy Trinity Church, Fulton. Burial will be held in the spring at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours will be 4:00 to 6:00 PM Tuesday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton.
