John W. Elmer, 38; of Oswego died suddenly at his home. He was born in Oswego and he has been a resident of Fulton for most of his life. Mr. Elmer is survived by his wife Carol (Firenze) Elmer of Oswego, his children: Jessica Elmer of Scriba, and Alexis Elmer of Oswego, 2 step-children: Steven Knapp of Palermo, and Geno Firenze of Fulton, his Mother Linda Secor of Fulton, maternal grandmother Frances Ward of Granby, 2 siblings: Robert Elmer of SC, and Tammy Elmer of Hannibal, 1 step-grandchild: Trevor, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. There will be no funeral services. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be held 10:00 AM to Noon Saturday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton.
