  1. Please convey to the Phelps family my deepest simpathies. I knew John when I worked at Mirabitos Store on Cayuga St about 5 years ago. He was a unique individual, good natured, ready to share a laugh with those around him. I know he will be missed.

  2. To the Family of John aka “Chickenhead” that’s all I have ever know him as. We met him 20 plus yrs.ago threw Tammie Wilbur he was a happy person that made everyone happy that was around him. We are glad we got the chance to know him. We hope he rests in peace. Also to his family we know he will be sorely missed & we are sorry for your lost. Our prayers are with you.

  4. I have been friends with Johnny since we where little kids. I wish I would have been in New York when John Passed so I could have given my respect to Shirleen and Dale and Eddy. John was the guy that held the door for the elderly, and would take in their groceries. He was kind and decent and I am proud to say, “He was my friend”. Love ya John! Eric House
