Joan Terranova, 93; of Fulton died Wednesday at Oswego Hospital, Oswego. She was born in Fulton to the late Clement and Joanna (Brady) Thompson. She has remained a lifetime resident of Fulton. Mrs. Terranova was past employed with the law office of Dwight Murphy as a secretary at the Oswego County Veterans Service office. She was a past communicant of Holy Family Church, Fulton and Holy Family Altar Rosary Society. She was pre-deceased by her son Joe Terranova in 1992 and her husband Carmelo “Charles” Terranova in 2008. Mrs. Terranova is survived by her 3 children: Donna Seeber of Fulton, Harold (Pam) Terranova of FL., and Charles “Terry” (Sharon) Terranova of CO., 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, “special” niece Helen Thompson of Fulton, and granddog Charlye. A funeral service will be conducted in the spring. Burial will be held in the spring at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton. There will be no calling hours. The Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S., Fulton has care of the arrangements.
