Joan McLaughlin

Joan McLaughlin, 76, of Oswego died Friday in Loretto Health & Rehabilitation Center of Oswego. Mrs. McLaughlin was born in Oswego, the daughter of the late Warren Chetney & Vivian (Guernsey) Marusczak, and she has remained a lifetime resident of the Oswego, Fulton area. She was the owner and operator of The Coffee Cup and The Pub in Oswego. Mrs. McLaughlin was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church. She was predeceased by her husband James McLaughlin, daughter Mary McLaughlin Chen,  twin sister Jean Chetney, and sister Connie Sidie. Mrs. McLaughlin is survived by two sons Wayne Kuzawski of FL, James McLaughlin Jr. of Rome and daughters Cheryle (Michael) Bockheim of Syracuse, Denise (Richard) Wallace of Oswego, Kimberly McLaughlin of Oswego, Donna (Daniel) Murrell of Fulton, Colleen (Donald) Woodruff of Fulton, and her sister Joyce (Wayne) Gleason of Oswego, seventeen grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Oswego. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home 147 West Fourth Street, Oswego
