Jean Conzone, 87, of Oswego died Tuesday October 13, 2015 at her home. She was born in Oswego the daughter of the late Ross and Florence (Kelsey) Gardner. Mrs. Conzone was a former employee of Canale’s Restaurant, Breneman Shade Factory, food services at SUNY Oswego, and Davis Brothers Meats, Oswego. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, St. Joseph’s Golden Agers, St. Anne’s Society and she was a volunteer at St. Joseph’s Festival. She enjoyed playing cards with the Harbour House card group. Mrs. Conzone especially loved spending time with her family and grandchildren and being an active grandmother by attending all of their extracurricular activities. She was pre-deceased by her husband Francis Conzone in 1994, son-in-law Dan “Cord” Marino. Mrs. Conzone is survived by her children: Ronald Conzone of Oswego, Brenda Marino of Oswego, James (Ann) Conzone of Oswego, Francis “Bud” (Laura) Conzone of Oswego, Elaine (Bill) Galloway of Oswego and Richard (Susan) Conzone of East Syracuse, brother: Brian (Cathy) Gardner of FL, sister: Patricia Maher of Rochester, NY; and grandchildren: Melissa, Michelle, Michael, Maria, Amiee, Angela, Bryan, Shane, Ryan, Brandan, Sophia, and Alex; 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Conzone was also pre-deceased by her siblings Dorothy Yamrose, Marie Kimpland, Bill Gardner, Dawn Saxbury, Marian Loughrey, Earl Gardner, Richard Gardner, and Betty Davis. Funeral Services will be held 9:00 AM Saturday at St. Joseph’s Church, Oswego where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Greg Kreinheder. Burial will be held in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Oswego. Calling hours will be held 4:00 to 6:00 PM Friday at the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home 147 West 4th St. Oswego, NY 13126.
