James W. Martin, 56; of New Haven, NY died Friday at his home after a short illness.  He was born in Sandycreek, NY to William Martin of Hastings, NY and the late Reta Brennan.  Mr. Martin was past employed with Feldman’s as a Handyman and Crouse Hines.  He loved fishing, camping, gardening and animals.  He was pre-deceased by his sister Cathy Martin.  Mr. Martin is survived by his wife of 10 years Barb Martin of New Haven, NY, 3 daughters:  Bobbi Jo Martin of Watertown, NY, Jessica Martin of Syracuse, NY, Ashley Armstrong of Utica, NY, 3 sons: Jacob Martin of Syracuse, NY, Owen Drought of Syracuse, NY and Elvis Armstrong of Camp LeJeune, NC, 11 siblings:  Sally Parker of Mexico, NY, Linda Harten of Fulton, NY, Marie Martin of Hastings, NY, Tina Sobotka of Maple View, NY, William Martin of Pulaski, NY, Robert Martin of Mannsville, NY, Rick Martin of Scriba, NY, David Martin of Pennellville, NY, Clarence Martin of Granby, NY, Michael Deforge of Clay, NY and Joe Deforge of Oswego, NY, 3 grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.  Memorial Services will be held 6:00 PM Thursday at Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton with Reverend David Nethercott.  Burial will be private.  Calling hours will be held 4:00 to 6:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.  Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 6725 Lyons St. PO Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057-0007.
