Jack Scozzari

Jack Scozzari, 91, of Oswego died Friday at his home after a short illness. Mr. Scozzari was born in Oswego the son of the late Frank and Fila (Talamo) Scozzari. Mr. Scozzari retired from Niagara Mohawk as a shift control operator at the Oswego Steam Station after thirty-six years of service. He also worked for many years as a farmer at the family farm. Mr. Scozzari served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a life member of the Minetto American Legion, and a former member of the Fulton Moose Lodge. Mr. Scozzari enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his sisters Mary Scozzari, Marian King, brothers Anthony and Phillip Scozzari. He is survived by his son Jack Scozzari of Oswego, brother Joseph Scozzari of Oswego, sisters Josephine Kells of Hannibal, Rose Cullen, and grandson Giovanni Scozzari of Oswego. Funeral services and burial will be private. The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home 147 West Fourth Street, Oswego.
