Howard L. Baker, 73, of Oswego died Sunday May 13, 2018 at his home peacefully with his family by his side. He was born in Oswego the son of the late Clarence and Ida (Bristol) Baker. Mr. Baker was a former employee with the Department of Public Works for the City of Oswego. He enjoyed reading, playing cards, going to the races at the Oswego Speedway and watching NASCAR. He was also an avid Dallas Cowboys Fan, and enjoyed horse racing. Mr. Baker is survived by his wife of 52 years Gloria Baker of Oswego and their children Michael Baker of Oswego; Christine (Mark) Duplessis of Oswego; Howard Baker Jr. of Oswego; Rockwell (Jennifer) Baker of Oswego; Gina Noto of Oswego; and his ten grandchildren Dylan, Joshua, Nicole, Morgan, Brandon, Haley, Devin, Nolan, Abigail, and McKenna. In addition he is survived by his siblings Mary (Ed) Johnson of Oswego; Nancy (Kevin) Furletti of Oswego; Kathy (Charles) Gibson of Oswego, and Thomas (Holly) Baker of Oswego.
