Helen M. Carpenter, 89; of Granby died Friday at Oswego Hospital. She was born in Pennellville, NY to the late James and Sylvia Auringer. Mrs. Carpenter has been a resident of Granby for 70 years. She retired from Plainville Turkey Farms, Plainville, NY. Mrs. Carpenter was pre-deceased by her husband George Carpenter in 1995. She is survived by her 3 sons: Glenn Carpenter of Jamesville, NY, Stewart Carpenter of Fulton, and Leigh Carpenter of FL., 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral Services and calling hours will be conducted privately. Burial will be held privately in Jacksonville Cemetery, Lysander. The Sugar Funeral Home Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton has care of the arrangements.
