Helen H. SpinnerHelen H. Spinner, 91, of Fulton died Saturday at Oswego Hospital, Oswego. She was born in Fort Covington, NY to the late Frank and Rachel (Smith) Hamood. Mrs. Spinner has been a resident of Fulton for most of her life. She retired as a registered nurse after working for several years at A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital, Fulton. Mrs. Spinner was a past member of Catholic Daughters of America, the Holy Family Altar Rosary Society, Legion of Mary, and the A.L. ee Memorial Hospital Retired Nurses. She was a counselor with the Al-Anon program for over 16 years, a volunteer with hospice and a past member of several Senior Citizen organizations both locally and in Waverley, NY. Mrs. Spinner was pre-deceased by her husband Romeo, daughter Barbara Jeanne and sister Mildred LaPage. She is survived by her son Romeo Spinner Jr., of Hannibal, sisters: Elizabeth Facteau of Tupper Lake, NY, and Dorothy Lassonde of FL., her former daughter-law Marcella (Daniel) Ferens of Fulton, grandsons: Romeo Phillip (Jacqueline) Spinner, Ryan Adam Spinner, great granddaughter Skyler Barbara Spinner and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:15AM Thursday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., with Rev. James Schultz officiating. Burial will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours be held 10:00AM to 11:15AM at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 West 2nd St. S., Fulton.
