I will miss Gary’s warm handshake and gentle smile. I enjoyed playing music with Gary and getting to know him again, mostly through email while I was working out of town and before he lost his sight – and even more recently at the church jam sessions and Sunday morning worship at Mt Pleasant church.
God bless those that mourn Gary’s departure, but please know that you haven’t lost him if you know where he is! I believe I’ll see him again and I know there’s music there and he’s smiling.
