Frank Cedrone Sr., 95, of Fulton died Saturday August 27, 2016 in Upstate Hospital, Syracuse. Mr. Cedrone was born in Frosinone, Italy, the son of the late Francesco and Angelina (Buccilli) Cedrone. He moved to the United States when he was two years old, living in Massachusetts, Syracuse and later moving to Fulton. Mr. Cedrone was a self-employed contracting engineer owning Frank Cedrone Inc., Syracuse, NY. He was a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army 27th Division as a forward observer, during World War II. Mr. Cedrone was a communicant of Holy Trinity Church, a member of the disabled American Veterans, and the American Legion. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Lenora Cedrone of Fulton, sons Frank Cedrone Jr., of Florida, Peter (Angela) Cedrone of Fulton, and grandchildren Ashlyn Cedrone, Angelo Cedrone, Lenora Cedrone and Peter Cedrone Jr. Funeral services will be conducted Friday 9:30 a.m. in Holy Trinity Church, Fulton where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. John Canorro. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar Funeral Home Inc., 224 W. 2nd. St. Fulton. Contributions may be made in Mr. Cedrone’s memory to Holy Trinity Church.
Love you dad. You were a great man and always felt safe when growing up. You had a powerful presence but also a great heart. Helping many people who were less fortunate. And you know who you are. You are in beautiful place now watching you’re kids and grandkids. I was very lucky to have a father like you. See you soon. Frankie
