Francis P. Wallace, 61; of Fulton died Thursday at Sunrise Nursing Home, Oswego after a short illness. He was born in Syracuse, NY to the late Raymond and Dorothea (Kehoe) Wallace. Mr. Wallace had been a resident of Fulton for most of his life. He was an Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor with Mercy Hospital, Watertown, NY. Mr. Wallace was a member of the Mensa Club. He was an avid musician and songwriter. Mr. Wallace enjoyed SU basketball, coin collecting and Star Trek. He was pre-deceased by his sister Deborah Wallace. Mr. Wallace is survived by his brothers: Martin (Beth) Wallace of Oswego, and Thomas Wallace of Henderson Harbor, NY and his sisters Darlene “Mona” (James) Bolen of Fulton, and Amanda (William) Brown of Oswego, 12 nieces and nephews and 2 great nieces. A Remembrance Celebration honoring Francis’ life will be held privately. The Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton has care of the arrangements.
