Francis Gigliotti, 84; of Fulton died Thursday, September 19th at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center, Syracuse. Mr. Gigliotti was born in Fulton to the late Anthony and Theresa (Scerbo) Gigliotti. He has remained a life resident of Fulton. Mr. Gigliotti was a United States Veteran having served in the Navy during WWII. He was passed employed with Sealright for 20 years and Tops where he worked as a Butcher for several years. Mr. Gigliotti loved his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchild and he also enjoyed playing the clarinet in a band comprised of his brothers and sons. Mr. Gigliotti was an avid fan of the NY Yankees. He was pre-deceased by his wife Shirley Gigliotti in 1995. Mr. Gigliotti is survived by his children Theresa (Phillip) Hammond of Fulton, James Gigliotti of Fulton, and Joseph (Nancy) Gigliotti of Oswego, brothers Richard (Helen) Gigliotti, and Dennis (Toni) Gigliotti, 3 grandchildren: Catherine Gray, Cristina Hammond, and Steven Gigliotti, 1 great grandchild: Nicholas Gray and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 5:00 PM Thursday, October 3rd in the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton with Rev. Robert Stephenson officiating. Burial will be held privately. Calling hours will be conducted Thursday from 3:00 to 5:00 PM in the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc.
RIP Gig, you were a wonderful man and loved by everyone. You will be missed very much.
