  2. Although I don’t know the family, I want to extend my condolences to you. Mrs. Paine was a wonderful person and I really looked forward to seeing her and catching up every sping when the downtown Syracuse Farmer’s Market opened. I sought her out every Tuesday until the fall, missed seeing her in the winter and would have a wonderful and happy reunion every spring when the market opened again. She was fun to talk with and I always would buy her beautiful gladiolas and yummy tomatoes. I’m sorry for your loss, but as I hope you are, I am comforted in the knowledge that after a life well lived, she is in a peaceful place and enjoying a well earned rest.
    Sincerely, Vicky Hastings
