Doris Valelunga Doris Valelunga, 96; of Fulton passed away peacefully Monday morning at St. Luke Health Services, Oswego, NY. She was born in Fabius, NY to the late Howard and Marion (Fairchild) Brown. Mrs. Valelunga has been a resident of Fulton for most of her life. She was past employed with General Electric, Syracuse, NY for 2 years, Montgomery Ward, Fulton, NY for 10 years, a co-owner and operator of Valelunga’s Grocery Store, Fulton for 10 years and she also was also involved with a Photography business for children for 2 years. Mrs. Valelunga was an avid bowler and she loved crossword puzzles and to read. She was a past volunteer with RSVP, Fulton, and the A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, Fulton. Mrs. Valelunga was also a member of the Tuesday Afternoon Coffee Hour Bowling League, Fulton. She was pre-deceased by her husband of 61 years Ernest Valelunga in October of 2014, daughter Nancy Quinn in 2005, 3 brothers Kenneth Brown, Donald Brown and Howard Brown, and 2 sisters Norma Palmer, and May Fisher. Mrs. Valelunga is survived by 3 children: Vincent Valelunga of Fulton, Patricia (Daniel) Hall of Fulton, Sharon (David) Reiter of AZ, son-in-law Bernie Quinn of Fulton, 4 siblings: Elsie Case of NM, Shirley Hayes of FL, Shelby Phillips of FL, and Robert Brown of Apulia, NY, 3 grandchildren: Eileen (Aaron) Quinn Fritton of Oswego, Dana Reiter and Devin Reiter of MN, 2 great grandchildren: Kylie and Cole Fritton and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 10:30 AM, Saturday, June 6th at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S., Fulton with Rev. Moritz Fuchs officiating. Burial will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton. Calling hours will be conducted 9:00 to 10:30 AM Saturday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., Fulton.
