Cosimina “Cosi” Masuicca, 73, of Oswego died Sunday in Seneca Hill Manor, Volney, after a long illness. She was born in Oswego the daughter of the late Silvo and Frances (Nasca) Fontana. Cosimina was a graduate of Oswego High School, and she was employed as a secretary at SUNY Oswego until her retirement in 1992, after thirty-two years of service. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, and a member of the LST Auxiliary Association, CSEA Retired Association, and she was past secretary of the Women’s Bowling League of Oswego. Cosimina enjoyed gardening, and bowling. She is survived by her loving husband Joseph Masiucca of Oswego, her sister Nancy Pace of Ft. Myers, FL, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Ralph Fontana in 2009. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 8:30 from the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, and 9:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, Oswego. Entombment will be in All Saints Mausoleum, St. Peter’s Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Tuesday 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home 147 West Fourth Street, Oswego.
