Chester Litwak

Chester Litwak, 86, of Fulton died Tuesday at St. Joseph Hospital, Syracuse after a long illness. He was born in Fulton the youngest son of the late Joseph and Katherine (Kaczowka) Litwak. He remained a lifetime resident Fulton. Mr. Litwak was a United States Veteran having served during WWII in the Navy from 1943 to 1946. He retired from Black Clawson after 40 years of service. Mr. Litwak was a communicant of Holy Trinity Church, Fulton. He has pre-deceased all seven of his siblings. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Shirley Litwak of Fulton, several nieces and nephews including Shelley Eusepi of Oswego, Brie (Mario Martinez) Buske of Oswego, Jayden Martinez of Oswego, Chet Kempston of Fulton, and Barbara Truax of Fulton. Funeral Services will be held 9:30 AM Saturday at Holy Trinity Church, Fulton where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Oswego where military honors will be given by the Fulton VFW Honor Guard and the US Navy Honor Guard. Calling hours will be conducted Friday 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Sugar Funeral Home, 224 West Second Street, Fulton.
