Carol J. Coant , 69; of Fulton died Monday at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Fulton and she has been a resident of Fulton for most of her life. Mrs. Coant worked for 17 years before retiring from Onondaga County Drainage and Sanitation Department as a maintenance mechanic. She was a member of the VFW Post #569 Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her 9 children: John Coant of PA, Kathy Coant of FL, Terry Coant of PA, Michael (Anita) Coant of FL, Lorrie Coant of Fulton, Vickie Claflin of Mexico, Tammy (Joseph) Corbett of Oswego, Debbie Langdon of Fulton and Jody (Michael) Balduzzi of Camillus, her siblings: Donna McDonald, Robert Jardin and Ted Jardin; 9 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 6:00 PM Friday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton. Burial will be held privately. Calling hours will be conducted 4:00 to 6:00 PM Friday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. 2nd St. S. Fulton.
Our prayers for your grief are never ending and our heart breaks for your loss. We know the Lord has taken her home to suffer no more with the horrible sickness that claimed her life. She will be missed, but we thank our heavenly Father for reaching out and taking her home with him. She left many beautiful and loving children behind to pass on her life and help keep her alive to many. May God bless all of you during your time of need.
