Beverley C. (Gannett) Thurlow, 84 of Fulton N.Y., passed away Wednesday June 4, 2014 after a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Dora Gannett of Granby N.Y. Beverley was predeceased by her son Michael, her husband Charles, sisters Bertha, Katherine, June, and brothers Harold Jr., Walter, James, Frank and Fredrick.
She is survived by her children: Harold (Gerry) Ellis of Hannibal, Charles (Daisy) Thurlow Jr. of Illinois, Rodger (Susan) Thurlow of Virginia, Lawrence (Pat) Thurlow of Fulton, Dora (Holly) Thurlow of Oswego, and Dawn (James) Thurlow of Oswego. In addition to her children she is survived her sisters Mildred Wood of Oswego, Laura Landis of Florida, her brother William Gannett of N. Syracuse, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Beverley enjoyed cooking and baking, she had a great love of music and enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday 11:00 a.m. at the Sugar Funeral Home, 224 W. 2nd. St. S., Fulton. Burial will be in Jacksonville Cemetery. The calling hours will be Monday 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. prior to the services at the Sugar Funeral Home, Fulton.
Dora – I am so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. I know too well the pain you are experiencing. I hope you can find comfort in your memories. Thoughts and prayers are with you.
